  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add pumpkin purée, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into six rectangles. Lightly score a border around each rectangle.
  4. Spoon filling into the center of each rectangle and brush edges with egg wash.
  5. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  6. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm pastries before serving.
