Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 fresh jalapeño, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup peach preserves (or peach jam)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F / 74°C). Remove from skillet and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and jalapeño; sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in peach preserves, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and optional red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet; spoon sauce over each piece. Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes until well coated.
  5. Optional: Add fresh peach slices during the last minute of cooking. Garnish with cilantro or parsley before serving.
