  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup cooked turkey sausage or turkey pepperoni slices (optional)
  • ½ cup bell peppers, mushrooms, or other favorite veggies
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 2 black olives or candy eyeballs (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle measuring about 10×14 inches.
  3. Spread the pizza sauce lengthwise down the center third of the dough.
  4. Layer mozzarella cheese, turkey sausage or pepperoni, and veggies on top of the sauce.
  5. Cut diagonal strips on both long sides of the dough (about 1 inch wide). Fold these strips over the filling in a crisscross pattern to create a mummy wrap. Pinch the ends to seal.
  6. Place two olives or candy eyeballs near the top to resemble mummy eyes.
  7. Brush the dough with egg wash and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before slicing and serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
