  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup soft unsalted butter (for filling)
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (for filling)
  • 3 eggs (for filling)
  • 1 1/3 cups almond flour (for filling)
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour (for filling)
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust by mixing all-purpose flour, salt, powdered sugar, and almond flour in a bowl. Cut in cold butter until crumbly and mix in the egg until dough forms. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out chilled dough into a circle and transfer it to a tart pan. Press into edges and trim excess.

  4. Pour the filling into the prepared crust and top with sliced almonds. Bake for about 50 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Cool completely before slicing and serve as desired.
