  • sliced almonds
  • all-purpose flour
  • brown sugar
  • butter
  • eggs
  • baking powder
  • vanilla extract
  • cinnamon

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×9 inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Soak chopped dates in warm water for 10 minutes, then drain and pat dry.
