  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (6 ounces each)
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups chicken stock
  • ½ cup white apple vinegar
  • Juice from ½ lemon
  • ¾ cup sliced button mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons diced turkey slices
  • 8 ounces shredded Provel cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Flatten chicken breasts slightly for even cooking. Coat with melted butter and dredge in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Whisk in flour to create a roux, then gradually stir in chicken stock, vinegar, and lemon juice. Simmer until thickened.
